Our Sauces

Our Spiced Tagine Sauce is inspired by the rich, heady flavours of Morocco and Tunisia. It is made with North African spices, tomatoes, onions, apricots and dates. This sauce is delicious as the base for a tagine. It is excellent served with couscous, flavoured or plain rice, or bread.

Our Berbere Sauce is inspired by Ethiopia’s distinctive Berbere spice blends. It is authentically made tomatoes, onions and a traditional mix of spices. It is excellent served with couscous, flavoured or plain rice, or a traditional Injera flatbread.

Our Maraq-Style Sauce is inspired by the sweet and sour Maraqs of Somalia. It is made from a traditional spice blend, green peppers, mango, dates and a little tamarind for sourness. It is excellent served with couscous, flavoured or plain rice, or bread.
